About us:

The Thomsett Agency was founded by Richard Newman in November 1988 following 21 years Government Service, including 14 years as a special investigator and area fraud investigation manager.

Richard has an Honours Degree in Systems and Management. He is Past President of the Association of British Investigators and is a member of the International Professional Security Association, and a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Investigators.

Awarded Investigator of the Year by the Association of British Investigators 2008/09.

Staff are employed for their specialist skills in photography, radio communication and trailing. Both male and female staff are employed as the needs of the case dictate.

Thomsetts will undertake instructions throughout the UK. The main area of activity, however, is from Lands End and Bristol in the West to London and Dover in the East.
